The quarter-final matches of the 2014 Quidditch World Cup begin this week!

After an action-packed first round, eight countries made it through to the quarter-finals of the 2014 Quidditch World Cup.

The first match of the quarter-finals, Brazil versus Wales, will take place this Wednesday June 4. Spectators in the Patagonian Desert are sure to be both excited and nervous about the upcoming match, after rival managers Gwenog Jones and José Barboza clashed during the early days of the tournament. Jones famously threatened to ‘curse the face off’ Barboza after he called her Chasers ‘talentless hags’, and we’re sure Jones will be eagerly awaiting the opportunity to prove him wrong.

Scheduled dates of the other three quarter final matches are:

Friday June 6: Bulgaria versus Norway
Sunday June 8: USA versus Liechtenstein
Tuesday June 10: Japan versus Nigeria

Now you’ve backed your winners, download and print your very own ‘Route to the Final’ wall chart, available here, and plot the path of your chosen teams as the tournament progresses.
